Life Lessons During the "Great Reccession of 2010"

Difficult times has a way of separating people who love you and people who you know. The process of elmination can be painful--but in the end, you will probably be the better for it. All of us could use some additional support: financially, emotionally, and in some cases, physically. A life lesson that I am finding helpful is depending more on close friends and family.

The economy has made my personal relationships stronger and kept me focused on major priorities and goals in my life. In that regard, I owe a debt to the recession (no pun entended) and promise myself that when the "good times" return, I will remember the lessons learned now.

Stay tuned for more Life Lessons learned during the Great Recession of 2010.

Number One

Let me take this opportunity to first welcome you to my blog, my thoughts and comments on issues that affect many of us living in urban America. I will try to stimulate, when possible, intellectual exchange and meaningful discussion. In return I hope to receive suggestions and constructive criticism's--especially when my view points seem not grounded in reality or fact.

I will limit my comments to areas that I have both practical knowledge and hands-on experience. For me, knowledge and practical experience are key elements in acquiring both a degree of success throughout life while obtaining the wisdom that comes with the trial and error of life experiences.

I look forward to sharing with you and receiving from you information that will be mutually beneficial to all involved.
